Over the course of a year I designed an HCI Independent Study course where I researched and began work on a redesigned patient portal for users/interactors that isn't overwhelming, is aesthetically clean and modern and most importantly easy to navigate.

The project began with a literature review of resources on medical UI best practices and general usability for mobile app design. I also did a through review of existing patient portals both with stakeholders and on online. Prototypes are being created in various programs. This project is still ongoing

Project progression:

• Research into the problem space of usability within a medical patient portal.
• Develop user persona.
• Design brand and brand identity in Adobe Illustrator.
• Wireframing and prototyping in Figma. - still in progress
• Prototyping in Protopie.
• User test created and then conducted with stakeholders.
